Also at Colonial Fort Condé, step back in time and experience the story of Mobile's Pelican Girls! Meet the women who helped shape early French Mobile and discover the challenges of daily life in the colony. Through engaging living history demonstrations, watch as the Pelican Girls stand up to Governor Bienville, demanding flour and much-needed supplies to improve life in the New World. Be sure to stop by and meet members of the Pelican Girl Mystic Society, who will be welcoming guests at the fort entrance.
